A few days ago, I got a POP false ceiling installed in my home. Two days back, a professional came to make light cuttings, and I observed the entire process carefully. How to Cut a False Ceiling?
First they decided the exact position where each light would be placed.
Then, they used a compass tool to mark a perfect circle according to the light size. They placed the compass on the POP ceiling and drew the circle very neatly.
After marking, gently tap along the circle using a hammer so that only the marked part of the POP broke off.
Once that piece came out, they carefully removed the circular POP section.
Inside, there was a wire mesh, which they cut properly using a cutter to make enough space for the light.
Next, they connected the electrical wiring for the light fixture.
After completing the wiring, they fixed the light by inserting the spring clips and pushing it gently into the cutout.
Finally, they switched on the power to check, and the light worked perfectly.
