How to Get Vastu Compliant Modern Interior Design?
You must first understand the basic components of Vastu to create a smooth blend. The equilibrium of the five elements, i.e., earth (prithvi), water (jal), fire (agni), air (vayu), and space (akash), is central to Vastu architecture.
Here are some suggestions for designing your bedroom according to Vastu.
Avoid beams that span over the bed.
The master bedroom should be in the southwest.
The bed should be on the south wall, or at least 4 feet away from the walls.
When installing the bed, ensure the occupant sleeps with their head looking south.
Sleep with your head to the south, east, or west, never in the north.
Southwest is unsuitable for youngsters, guests, or servant quarters.
You must place heavy almirahs on the south and west walls.
Install a bookshelf in the west or southwest corner.
Bedrooms with square or rectangular shapes are ideal.
Bedroom doors should open at least 90 degrees.
There should be no mirror in front of the bed.
Avoid accumulating stuff under the bed.
