Hi Sharmilasanthosh. I can tell you how to get a rental space for a shop in Chennai, as I have recently looked for one. Here is the process I followed, which you can also follow.
Visit the
NoBroker website
.Under the Commercial option, choose your city as Chennai, and mention your preferred localities where you want to rent the shop space.
After that, select the property type you’re looking for and click on the search button.
All of the rental properties will appear after you do this.
Select "Shop" as the building type from the menu on the left side of your screen.
All of the property's information is available to you, including the built-up area, rent, and deposit.
You can click on the Contact Owner option and sign in with your mobile number to get in touch with the landlord and finalise the deal.
However, I took the NoBroker Commercial Tenant Planwhich helped me get the space within 3 weeks.

Dear Nobroker Team,
I saw two properties this morning listed on your platform. However, I was unable to access the owners’ contact details without a subscription, so I proceeded to purchase a subscription for ₹942.84.
After subscribing and contacting the owners, I was informed that one of the properties was listed under the wrong location — it was shown in Gachibowli, but the actual property is approximately 100 km away. The second property has already been rented out.
As both listings are inaccurate or unavailable, and my subscription was purchased specifically to connect with these two properties, I kindly request a refund for the amount paid.
