1) Tanks that connect at the base
This technique fills and empties each tank in the series uniformly. Water flows into the second tank after entering the first tank and reaching the pipe link, and vice versa. The main benefit of this system is that just the first tank or the lowest tank in a sequence needs to have water drained off of it. Additionally, the pipeline only needs one overflow cut to be made. The overflow level needs to be parallel to one another. Add isolation valves so that if one tank leaks, it won't cause the entire chain of tanks to empty. 2) Tank connections from the top
The overflow from one tank to another is used to connect the tanks using this technique. As the first tank fills, water spills over into the pipe heading to the second tank's entrance, and so on. There must be an overflow in the final tank. The overflow and intake openings should have the same size. Each following tank in the series must be located at a somewhat lower height than the first. For a consistent release of water in every tank, ensure each one has an isolation valve. Tap into the one connecting pipe below to obtain stored water from all connected tanks.
In this procedure, there are two ways to fill the tank. If you wish to fill up all the tanks at once, open every valve. If you wish to fill each tank separately after the other, shut all valves apart from the first and open the following in the sequence. This is the process for the house water 2 tanks connection.
