I had to get my HDFC bank credit card closed. I had read that HDFC Bank credit card holders can cancel their credit cards any time by calling the toll-free number 61606161/6160616. I opted for another method. I downloaded the Credit Card Closure Form from the official website of HDFC and submitted the duly filled form to the bank manager. My account was closed.
