How to Close DBS Bank Account Online?
Here are the steps that my friend told me
First of all, he told me to visit the
official website of DBSBank.
Then, he asked me to use my User ID and PIN.
Following that, he told me to complete the Authentication Process and go to the account closure page.
The next step was to select the DBS/POSB Current / Savings Account that I want to close and click on Next.
Now, I had to verify the details and click on Submit to complete the request.
Finally, he told me to review the completion of the account closure.
Then, I had to click on Finish.
And that is how to close the DBS account online. After that, my friend also provided me with a few important information. Here are the details
He told me that, this process can be done only through the Digibank website, not the mobile app.
He also said that the account closure is permanent and cannot be reinstated.
My friend also suggested me to transfer all funds in my account and ensure that the balance is zero. He also, told me that the DBS/POSB account is linked to Paylah! cannot be closed.
