There has been no proper ACT Fibernet Wi-Fi signal in my new rental house. So, I planned to disconnect my ACT broadband connection. I contacted their customer care number at +91 9121212121 and asked them about the ACT Fibernet close connection steps. They agreed, but no one was sent to disconnect the broadband. So, I did the disconnection process myself through the ACT website.

Here are the steps to disconnect the ACT Fibernet.
First, go to the
ACT official website.
Then, log in with your registered mobile number or email ID and password/OTP.
Once logged in, navigate to the "Support" or "Service Request" section.
Next, choose “Request for Disconnection” or raise a ticket. Do mention a subject like “Connection Cancellation”.
Fill in the required details and submit the request.
This is how I closed my ACT Fibernet connection through their website.
There is another option to send a disconnection request via email to
helpdesk@actcorp.in, but I didn’t choose that method because I wasn’t sure if they would check the email or respond promptly.

How Do I Cancel My ACT Fibernet Connection?
The customer service person told me I could disconnect my ACT connection by using their mobile app. Here are the steps that he has asked me to follow.
Open the ACT Fibernet App.
Next, locate the Profile section and tap on it.
After that, find the Plans and Services section and the Fibernet connection that you want to disconnect.
Tap on the option to cancel the service and confirm the request.
He said that after raising the request, I would receive a call from their team after 48 hours. After the discussion with the team, a disconnection date would be agreed upon.
He also told me I had availed a free Wi-Fi router from them, then I have to return it before the disconnection, in working condition. And that’s all he told me.
