How to Clean Gym Rubber Mats?
Start by sweeping the mats with a broom. Then, use a vacuum cleaner to pick up all the dust.
Follow this by mopping the mats. Don’t soak it excessively because moisture can seep through the seams of the rubber.
If your gym mat is spread across a large area, I recommend using an automatic floor scrubber or a buffing machine.
Let the mat air dry completely. You can speed up the drying process by using a wet vacuum and running it over the mat. You should do this step right after mopping the mat to get rid of any excess moisture.
If you are using any products to clean the rubber mats, I suggest you use a neutral pH cleaner as rubber is a sensitive material. Also, disinfect the mats using a cleansing agent.
