I found three simple steps on how to clean fabric headrest, which I am sharing below.
Dusting and Vacuuming
Use a soft and dry cloth to dust off any dirt from the surface. Then, vacuum the crevices to remove any remaining debris.
Using Gentle Soap
If you have oily stains on the headrest, you might require a specialised leather cleaner, otherwise you can use gentle soap. Don’t apply the cleaner directly to the sofa. Instead, spray the cleaner onto a dry cloth and use that cloth to clean the dirt.
Conditioning
This is optional, but to prevent the sofa from drying, consider using a leather conditioner every 6-12 months.
These are the steps that we followed. However, if your leather recliner has a deeper stain, like ink or wine, make sure you act quickly and blot the stain with a clean cloth. Use a specific leather stain remover if required or consider hiring a professional cleaning service to avoid any kind of damage to your sofa.
