Here is the process you can follow:
Grab eye protection glasses and wear them to protect your eyes while cleaning.
Next, you need to lay an old sheet right below the ceiling vents to catch any dirt that falls down.
Turn off the HVAC system to avoid dust or dirt being blown into your face or any other place inside the house.
Then, take a screwdriver and unscrew the floor, wall or ceiling vents.
Place the vents in a bucket of hot, lightly soapy water to soak.
Once they’ve soaked for around 30 minutes or so, take a microfiber cloth or sponge and remove any tough dust or dirt.
Use a cloth to dry off the covers with a cloth and screw them back in place.
Lastly, switch on your HVAC system to enjoy the cooling.
