Making a strategy, clearing out clutter, and starting with the most neglected aspects of a house are the primary steps in restoring it. This past weekend, my husband and I moved into a rental flat, and the place is filthy. For the past 3 years, he has lived there and has done very little cleaning. I was ready to clean it up because I couldn’t handle it any longer. So, I researched how to clean a neglected house and came up with a simple process, which I added below.
How Do You Clean a Severely Dirty House?
Here is the process I came across for deep cleaning a house.
Make a cleaning plan and assemble whatever cleaning supplies you require, such as mops, degreasers, etc.
Throw away or donate unwanted goods or clothes.
Start by using a little white vinegar to clean the living rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens, followed by other rooms. Go room by room.
After dusting your ceilings, light fixtures, and blinds, use glass cleaner to clean your windows and sliding doors.
Finally, clean the floors thoroughly using a microfiber mop and floor cleaner.
I tried this process, but seriously saying it’s a time-consuming and tiring process. Anyhow, later I had to take the professional cleaning service from the link below.
