I asked the bank officials to link my mobile number with my bank account and was asked to fill up a form for the same as well. However, I did not get any notification regarding it and did not know whether it got linked or not. On asking my friends about it, they said I can check it myself.
Let me tell you how to check it.
Visit the official website of your bank or Net Banking as I did for SBI by clicking on
https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/
Select my Accounts & Profile
Open profile
Select Personal Details/Mobile and get to see whether it is lined or not there
The process is quite similar for other banks as well.
