Most states in India provide online access to registered documents: Visit the State Registration & Stamp Department portal (e.g.,

Use the registration number or party names to search the registered documents database. If the search returns your agreement details (including SRO number and date), it is officially recorded.
Once found online, you can download the Certified Copy/Encumbrance Certificate (EC) showing your rent agreement’s registration. Only registered documents appear in these official records.
