The friend who helped me book the cylinder told me you can check the enrollment status from the official website of either Bharat Gas or MyLPG portal. You just have to provide your LPG ID. How to Check Bharat Gas Subsidy Online?
The process is very quick if you know the LPG ID. I had to first find my ID from the MyLPG portal, then I checked the status. Here are some steps I took.
First, I visited the
MyLPG portal.
In the right corner, you will find a box, where you have to enter your LPG ID.
After entering that, you can view the status. I clicked on the ‘Click to know the LPG ID’
This led me to a page where I selected the distributor, Bharat Gas.
Then, I had to enter some details such as consumer number, state name, etc.
This gave me my LPG ID, which I used to check the status.
So, that’s how I was able to check the status online. I also learned you could send an SMS to 57970 with your LPG ID, and you will get the status details.
