How to Check AC Fuse?
Here are the steps you can follow to check your Ac’s fuse:
Begin by turning odd the power supply.
Go near the AC and remove the cover. Once you are in reach with the panel, look for the fuses located inside.
Most of the ew AC units come with those compact cartridge or balde style fuses similar to those in cars. If you see that the fuse is clearly burned, shattered or has burn makrings on the plastic window, the fuse has blown up.
If yours is an older AC unit, which have the class cylinder-shaped glass fuses, you will have to examine the fuses a bit further.
Remove the fuses and check the internal metal strip. It it appears melted or seperated into several pieces with scorched ends, it indicates that the safety component gave up after protecting the unit.
