Change mobile number sitting at homeIf you have a net banking account, you can modify the mobile number associated with your bank account from your home computer or mobile device. I am well aware of the process of SBI. I will tell you about it.
You must first visit the bank's net banking website,
www.onlinesbi.com
. After that, you must click on Profile when you log into your account.
Next, select Personal Details. Your State Bank of India profile password must be entered here.
After entering it, you will see your email address and previous phone number, along with the choice to change your mobile number.
This instruction requires you to update your mobile number.
Select the option of By OTP on both the mobile number and click Proceed if you have both a new and an old mobile number.
Choose the account that your debit card is linked to.
A page displaying information on all of the active and inactive ATM cards connected to the account will load. Select the ATM card that is currently in use to confirm.
On the following screen, the chosen ATM card's number will be displayed. Enter the information requested in the text box, then select Proceed.
Both the old and new numbers will receive the OTP.
Following that, send an SMS from both mobile phones with the subject ACTIVATE 8 digit OTP> 13 digit reference number> to 567676 within four hours.
You can update your mobile number by travelling to the bank if you don't use internet banking. You must fill out a mobile number change form at your bank location in order to accomplish this. You must also submit copies of your passbook and Aadhar card in addition to this. Your mobile will thereafter be changed by the bank.
