4. The tap bonnet can be removed with a spanner to expose the jumper valve. 

5. Using pliers, carefully remove the old washer and install a brand-new, identical one. 

6. Make sure everything is firmly fastened before reassembling the tap in reverse order. 

7. Lastly, turn the water supply back on and check for leaks.
