The government has mandated that all LPG users be registered using their accurate address and name. It ensures that no one misuses the LPG subsidy and avoids registration duplication. As far as I know, there is no Indane Gas name change online process. I am sharing the offline process that I followed for my grandfather’s name change.
How to Change the Name in Indane Gas Connection?
The LPG connection must be passed to the family's lawful heirs upon the death of the head of the household. If the gas connection is in the name of the deceased, submit a copy of the death certificate.
Submit a copy of your proof of stay and one ID.
Complete the form and ensure it matches the affidavit that was sent to you by the distributor of Indane Gas.
Pay the required fee.
For this process, the following documents may be required.
KYC form (to be collected from the Gas agency)
Death certificate
Original Gas Voucher
One passport-size photo of the transferee
A letter confirming the person's passing and transferring to the appropriate person.
Evidence of a relationship between the transferee and the deceased (ration card).
The individual to whom the connection is transferred must provide proof of address (Aadhar card).
The individual to whom the connection is being transferred must provide photo identification (any of these documents, such as a voter ID or PAN card).

As far as I know there is no feature available for Indane Gas name change online. You need to do it offline only. If you want to change your name in the Indane gas connection, you will need to follow the given steps.
Visit your nearest Indane gas distributor.
Fill out a name change request form. You can download the Indane gas name change form with the following link:
Indane Gas Name Change Form.Submit the form and any required supporting documentation to the distributor.
Pay the applicable fee.
The distributor will review your request and process it if everything is in order. Once your request is processed, your name will be changed in Indane’s records. You will receive a new subscription voucher (SV) with your updated name.
