How to change name in house tax receipt?Since I am from Bangalore, I can explain the process to change name in property tax bill in BBMP. Here is the process which can be followed:
Visit the BBMP office
The property name corrections and change are allowed under ARO
Obtain Form 2 for name change from the counter and fill it up duly
You will have to attach documents including Sale Deed, Latest Tax paid receipt, Khata Certificate & a Requisition letter
Submit the application form along with the requisite fee and documents
The officials will verify your claims and documents.
If everything turns out to be okay, the name in the house tax receipt will be updated. I hope this helps you know the name
