Visit the Gujarat Gas Website: Go to the official Gujarat Gas website (
https://iconnect.gujaratgas.com/Portal/outer-service-request_template.aspx) Under the “New Request” section, click on the Name Change option.
Download the Name Change Form: Download the Name Change / Name Transfer Form. The form is available in Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, English, and Hindi, so choose a language you are comfortable with.
Fill in the Required Details: Enter all details carefully, including: Reason for name change, Name of the transferee (new customer), Consumer number and address, Old customer details.
Also fill out the Old Customer’s Consent Form, which is mandatory to complete the application.
Arrange Required Documents: Submit self-attested copies of the following, registered deed, property index, and index copy (notary required), if possession receipt or property index is more than 4 years old, attach the current year property tax bill, proof of ownership and identity (name and surname must match), in case of multiple owners, submit NOC from other owners (back page of the form).
Pay Dues and Process Fee: Clear all outstanding installments and payable amounts. Pay the name transfer process fee as applicable.
Submit the Application: Submit the duly signed form along with documents online or at the nearest Gujarat Gas local office.
Verification and Approval: Gujarat Gas will verify your documents. Name transfer is approved only after successful verification.
