Here is how to change name in electricity bill TSSPDCL;
The documents that you will need are: a duly filled complaint application form, a copy of the registered sale deed in the applicant’s name, ID proof and address proof, the latest electricity bill along with the payment receipt, and the latest house tax receipt. Ensure that all documents are attested by a Gazetted Officer, as this is mandatory for processing.
At the TSSPDCL office, submit the completed name change application form and all attested documents. Your application will now be officially registered.
Once registered, the application is immediately forwarded to the concerned ADE/Operation. There is no need to route the application through the section officer, which helps speed up the process.
The ADE/Operation verifies the sale deed and other submitted documents. After proper verification, the officer approves the name correction or address correction request.
Copies of the application are marked to the relevant ERO upon approval. The updated name or location is then promptly updated in the Electricity Billing System (EBS) by the AAO/ERO.
The AAO/ERO ensures immediate correction in EBS and submits weekly feedback reports to ADE/Operation. Officials ensure that all corrections are completed strictly as per the TSSPDCL Citizen Charter timelines.
