A few months back, I lost my mobile phone, and while getting a new one, I also decided to change my number. Now that I had changed my mobile number, I had to register this new number everywhere where it was registered. The first on the list was the WBSEDCL mobile number change. So, how did I do it?
Below are the steps that I had followed to change the phone number.
How To Change Mobile Number In WBSEDCL?
Visit the
WBSEDCL official website.
Click on Consumer Login on the right side of the page.
Enter your username and password and solve the captcha (
username is the Consumer ID)
Click on Login.
In the top right corner, you will find the User Profile section. Click on that.
On the next window, enter the new mobile phone number and click on
Proceed To Update.
That will confirm the change mobile number in WBSEDCL portal. But that is only possible when you already have registered on the portal. If you didn’t then you can follow the below steps to register for WBSEDCL mobile number change online.
Go to the official website and click on Consumer Login.
Enter your Consumer ID and click on Continue.
Now, enter the Installation number and click on Continue.
Enter your Mobile number and click on Send OTP.
Provide the OTP received in the necessary field and click on Submit.
Enter your Email ID and click on Send OTP.
Provide OTP in the relevant field and click on Submit.
Now, enter the password of your choice and re-enter it again.
Click on Continue.
And that would be it. With that, you would have registered successfully for the WBSEDCL mobile number change.
