It is very easy to update or change PAN card number online. I did it for my father so I know the entire process clearly. Here is what you need to do:
- Visit the Income Tax portal
- Login to the portal
- Go to My Profile
- Select Profile Settings
- Go to Contact Information and Click on Edit Button
- Enter your new mobile number
- Get the OTP in the number
- Enter the OTP your received and Click on Confirm
