For withdrawals, all Employees Provident Fund (EPF) members must link an active bank account to their EPF accounts. But how to change bank account in EPFO? To change your bank account in the EPFO account, follow these steps:
Log in to the Member e-Sewa portal using your UAN and password.
From the dashboard, navigate to the “Manage” → “KYC” section. There, you should select the “Bank” option, then update the details of your new bank account. This includes your bank name, account number, IFSC code, and other details.
Click “Verify IFSC.” The system fetches and confirms the bank branch details.
Next, click “Save.”
Following this, you will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter this OTP and click “Submit”.
Once submitted, the change will appear under “Pending KYC” status. It then needs to be approved first by the bank and subsequently by your employer.
After both approvals, the status will change to “Digitally Approved KYC” and you’ll receive a confirmation SMS.
If you wish to add another bank account (in addition to your existing one), you may repeat the same process by selecting a different bank under the KYC tab and adding its account number and IFSC. I hope this resolves your query on how can I change bank account in EPFO.
