Often, an address change alone does not invalidate the POA. The core powers granted to your agent remain intact. But many institutions (banks, registries, courts) prefer updated contact details and may request a revised document for clarity.
The recommended approach is to prepare a short, signed “Address Update” letter or affidavit. It should clearly state: old address, new address, details of principal and agent, and date of update.
Sign the document and optionally get it notarised to add legal weight.
