First, I went to the railway parcel office and booked my car transport. They told me the dates, charges, and the documents needed.
Before the transport, I cleaned my car, removed all personal items, and kept only about a quarter tank of fuel.
I also took photos of the car from all sides, just to keep a record.
On the day of transport, I carried my RC, insurance papers, emission certificate, and ID proof.
At the station, railway staff loaded and secured my car on the wagon.
After reaching Kolkata, I collected my car, checked the condition, and completed the formalities.
