How to cancel standing instruction in SBI?

If there is at least one standing instruction that needs to be executed, you can cancel it. However, if a standing instruction is set for the present date, it cannot be cancelled. To know how to cancel standing instruction in SBI, you must log in to the SBI internet banking page.

By selecting the "View/Cancel" tab under e-Services -> Standing instruction link, you can cancel your standing instructions, which are set through online banking.

• Log in to your account after installing and opening the Yono Lite SBI mobile app.

• The home page of your account will be visible once you log in. On the account dashboard, select the 'Services' option.

• You will get the very first option "Standing Instruction." Tap on it.

• Three options (Create Standing Instruction, View/Cancel Standing Instruction, and History) will be available on the following page. Tap on view or cancel the standing instruction.

• You will see your current standing instructions. Select the SI you wish to cancel.

• The selected standing instruction information will be shown on the screen. Give your cancellation reason in the box at the bottom of the page, then click "Cancel SI."

• There will be a pop-up message: "Are you sure you want to cancel the Standing Instruction?" You should tap “Yes.”

• You will see another message stating your standing instruction has been successfully cancelled.

How to cancel standing instruction in SBI in NetBanking?

1. Visit the SBI internet banking page and login using your credentials.
2. Go to the option ‘Request & enquiries’.
3. Tap on the option ‘standing instruction’.
4. You will be redirected to the ‘Standing instruction’ page. You will find three options: Add, View/cancel and History. Tap on ‘View/cancel’. Choose the type of transfer as ‘fund transfer’ then click on the ‘Go’ option.
5. Tap on the standing instruction reference number to cancel.
6. You will be redirected to a new page where you will find details such as instruction ref. number, creation date, debit account number, debit account branch, account type, transaction type, transaction schedule etc. After checking the details click on the ‘confirm’ button.
7. You will see a pop-up message ‘‘are you sure you want to cancel the standing instruction’. Tap on ‘Ok’ to cancel.
8. After hitting the ‘Ok’ button, you will see a message ‘standing instruction cancelled successfully’.

How to cancel standing instruction in SBI credit card?

To close your SBI credit card, you can directly visit the nearest branch, write or call the SBI credit card helpline. You need to palace the request and cut your card diagonally. You can call the SBI credit card customer service number:
