How to Surrender a MHADA Unit?
Open the MHADA Lottery app on your mobile.
Sign in to IHLMS 2.0.
Tap on Menu and go to Application List.
Choose the winning application you want to cancel.
Click on "Surrender Tenement."
Add the justification for the surrender.
Select "Download Letter of Surrender."
Take a print of the letter, sign it, and send it to the MHADA office.
Required Documents for Surrendering a MHADA Unit
Original application fee receipt
Copy of your passport-size photo
Copy of your Aadhaar card and your PAN card
Your employer's letter confirming your move to a different city
Any additional documents proving your justification for giving up the unit
Along with the surrender form, you must also submit these documents. After getting the necessary documents, the MHADA will process your surrender request in 15 days. The application cost will be reimbursed to you upon approval of your request.
