How to calculate FSIFSI or Floor Space Index is calculated using the following formula:
FSI = Floor space covered in all floors (built up area)/ area of the plot
Now another question is how to calculate built up area. So for that you can simply ask the carpet area and area covered by walls and add them up. Here is the formula for your reference:
Built up area = carpet area + areas covered by walls
