Hi, so if you are wondering how to build a pallet wardrobe, I have the process for you. You need to of course first get clean pallets, do a bit of prep work, measure the space, hang rods, doors and finish with sanding, wood primer and paint. I will give you a detailed account below.

Steps to Build a Pallet Wardrobe

  1. Begin by gathering clean pallets. Sand smooth to remove splinters from them. Then, disassemble half with a crowbar for slats and keep 4 to 6 pallets intact for shelves or doors.

  2. Measure the space you’ll need and then build the frame. Use timber for corners, top and button. Screw level to wall studs. Slot pallet shelves at 2 ft intervals for shoes/sarees.

  3. Next, you need to hang rods. Drill holes, insert a 1” steel pipe for clothes. Add plywood back, stapled in for stability.

  4. For the doors, hinge 2 full pallets with shed hinges. Fit magnetic catches and customise drawers from pallet crates.

  5. Finish by sanding with a 220 grit sandpaper, applying wood primer and 2 coats of enamel paint from a good brand like Asian or Nerolac. You can also apply rustic wax if you wish to.

This is the whole process.
