Hello. We recently got a 3-door wardrobe and assembled it. You’d need a couple of people for this and it takes around an hour to get the wardrobes ready, given that you don’t take any breaks! So, I would like to tell you how to assemble 3 door wardrobe. Let me tell you that the process is not at all an easy one, so if you are not sure it is best to hire a professional for the installation.
How to Install 3 Door Wardrobe?
Here is the process you can follow:
Start by turning the support leg onto the bottom of the panel .
Using 6 of the allen bolts, attach the side panels to the bottom panel.
Take the two drawers out of the middle section.
Use 6 allen key bolts and attach the middle section to the base of the wardrobe.
Use 10 allen bolts and fix the top panel to the wardrobe.
After this, use 40 of the 16mm round head screws and attach the two back panels onto the back of the wardrobe.
With the 2 x 30mm screws, attach the top panel to the sides through the pre-drilled holes inside the wardrobe. Fix the bottom of the middle section to the bottom of the wardrobe.
Attach the doors onto their hinges. Fix the door panels onto the side panels.
Place the hanging rails into their brackets in the wardrobe. Keep the drawers back in their middle section.
Decide where you want the two shelves to sit and put the 8 shelf hooks into the pre-drilled holes accordingly.
Rest the shelves on the hooks and using the 16mm screws, screw them up through the shelf hooks and into the bottom of the shelves to hold them securely in place.
Screw one of the brackets onto the top of the wardrobe in the middle of the back. Position the wardrobe against the wall where you want it to go.
Place the 2nd bracket onto the wall above the one fixed to the wardrobe and mark where the hole comes on the wall. Move the wardrobe away from the wall.
Fix the wall bracket using screws appropriate for the wall type.
Place the wardrobe back against the wall so the two brackets match up and tie them together with the plastic strap provided.
The plates don’t need to match exactly, but the plastic tie must go through each plate. Close the strap, but avoid over-tightening.
If the wardrobe isn’t level to the floor, use wedges. You can snap them off to avoid sticking out from the wardrobe.
See that the doors align well.
