The government of India introduced the PMAY-G (Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin) to fulfill the ‘Housing for All’ scheme by 2022. This scheme is intended for people who don’t own a home and those who stay in kutcha houses or homes that are severely damaged. The objective of this scheme is to offer them pucca houses with basic amenities. Let me tell you how to apply Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin online:
Visit the official PMGAY website. (https://pmayg.nic.in/netiay/masterlogin.aspx)
Log in to the portal and an application form will appear on the page. Fill in all the required personal detail like mobile number, Aadhaar number, gender, etc. and upload the consent letter
After that, click on the ‘search’ button. It will show details on a beneficiary and if the case has ‘priority’.
Tap on the ‘Register’ option.
After that, you will see the details of the beneficiary on the page.
Now, fill in details like a bank account, details of nomination, etc.
After completing this process, if you want to take a loan under this scheme, you will have to click on the ‘Yes’ option and enter the amount needed as a loan.
Finally, upload the MGNREGA and SBM details.
Now, the application to add a beneficiary will be processed by the assigned authority.
I want you to know that it’s applicable only when a beneficiary is qualified but hasn’t yet been added to the database.
