The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme was introduced for the weaker economy section in India to secure home loans at a lower interest rate. A deadline is set for the PMAY scheme and the government is trying to help 2508 cities and towns in all the 26 states in the country. The government has promised to build more than 2 million houses under this scheme. The deadline set for LIG and EWS category is 31 March 2002. The application process for MIG category I & II was over on 31 March 2019. I will share with you all the details in a step by step process on how to apply pm housing scheme below.
How to apply PMAY scheme online?
You need to keep your Aadhaar card with you for your Aadhar number and you should know the personal details such as the residential address, head of the family, the name of the state where you are living in and other key details. You need to get registered on the PMAY website by providing these pieces of information.
Step by step process: How can I apply for PMAY online:
Step 1: Log in to the PMAY portal.
Click here to visit the PMAY website.
Step 2: Click on 'Citizen Assessment' and select 'Benefit under other 3 components '
Step 3: Fill in your Aadhaar Number and hit 'Submit'.
Step 4: After providing all the information correctly you will be redirected to the page to provide information such as your name, income, number of family members, residential address, mobile number, age of the head of the family, religion, caste, etc.
Step 5: After providing the details type the captcha code and tap on submit.
If you want to change any information you can do it with the help of your application number and Aadhaar number.
