I recently applied for a domicile certificate of Maharashtra since I have been living in Pune for as long as I can remember. So I think I can be of help to you here. A domicile certificate is a proof that states that you are a resident of a particular state of which you have the domicile certificate. You must have lived in the state for at least 15 years to apply for a domicile certificate of that state.
