How to Apply for New Cheque Book in HDFC?
Before looking for the steps, first, find out the prerequisites required for requesting a new cheque book.
You must be a resident person or senior citizen who owns savings or salary accounts in HDFC.
You must have an active salary or savings account.
Users with Account(s) with a holding pattern of Singly, Either, or Survivor are eligible for this service. Customers should visit the closest branch to apply for a cheque book if their account(s) have a joint holding pattern.
Follow these detailed guidelines to apply for a cheque book at HDFC via net banking:
Sign in
https://netbanking.hdfcbank.com/netbanking/
using your Customer ID.
On the left side of the page, below the Request area, click Cheque Book.
If there is more than one account number, choose that one.
Tap on Continue.
Click the confirm button. Your application will be verified by a reference number that appears on the screen.
