With an EPF account, an employer can save a good amount of money which will help to avail of retirement benefits. During unavoidable circumstances, you can partially withdraw an amount from your PF account.
Nowadays you can add a nominee to your PF account on your own. I will share a simple process so that you can also add a nominee to your PF account online.
How to add nominee in EPF online?
Go to epfindia.gov.in.
Tap on the option 'Service'.
Select the option 'For Employees' and tap on 'Member UAN/Online Service'
Now you need to log in by filling in the details for EPFO UAN and password.
Choose 'E-nomination' situated under the 'Manage' Tab.
You will find the option 'Provide Details' and after filling in the details tap on the option 'Save'.
Now tap on 'Yes' and update the family declaration.
Fill in the details of the family members in the e-nomination form after clicking on 'Add Family Details'. You can add more than one nominee.
Tap on 'Nomination Details' and declare the total amount of shares.
Tap on 'Save EPF Nomination'.
Click on 'E-sign' and after this, your OTP will be generated on your registered mobile number. Submit the OTP that you will receive on your registered mobile number.
And you will be able to complete your e-nomination process.
