My room was painted in a single colour and I wanted to add one more colour to it. I planned to paint two walls and wanted to know how much paint do I need for 2 walls? Hence, I researched online and learned the process is quite simple. To calculate the exact paint quantity, I need to find out the area of one wall. I have shared the calculation steps below.

How Much Paint Do You Need for 2 Walls?
As I mentioned before, I learned that the first step is to calculate the area of the wall. I started by measuring the length and breadth of the wall, which are 10 ft and 8 ft, respectively. So, to find the area of one wall, we can use the below formula.
Area = Length x Width
= 10 ft. x 8 ft.
= 80 sq. ft.
The two walls that I was planning to paint didn’t have any doors and windows. So, the total area of the two walls becomes.
Area of two walls = Area of one wall x 2
= 80 sq. ft. x 2
= 160. sq. ft.
I also learned that 1 litre of paint covers 130 sq. ft. So, to find the amount of paint needed for two walls is.
= 160 / 130
= 1.2 Litres.
With this, only one coat of paint can be added to the walls. If you want to add two or three coats, you need to multiply 1.2 litres by the required amount of coats. I hope this helps.
