As per your rental agreement you are obliged to pay a certain amount of money. In Bangalore, generally a landlord of well-furnished flat charges you approx 1 month rent amount provided that you have maintained your residency in good condition and there is no broken furniture. If there are any damaged products you will be charged extra for that.

How much money is usually deducted from the security deposit in Bangalore, when you leave a 2 BHK rented flat?
I was living in a 2 BHK with my family and recently gave the notice period to the landlord. When I asked him to return the deposit, he said some deductions will be made based on the damages and other things. But, I don't feel the process is transparent. Can anyone share how much deposit is deducted by landlords in Bangalore? I feel the deduction is too high and I'm confused.
