Two weeks ago, I realised that my PVC pipeline was leaking, so I quickly hired a plumber from NoBroker. I wanted to know how much does it cost to fix leaking pipe, and discovered that the price varies as per the service providers. Also, the charges vary depending on location and the type of damage.

How Much to Fix a Leaky Pipe?

I had to pay Rs. 145 to fix a leaky pipe. The services that were included in this package were:

  1. The plumber would fix leaks in either PVC or galvanised iron pipes.

  2. If needed, they would use M-seal or a joint pipe, though the joint pipe comes at an extra cost.

  3. They also mentioned that any spare parts required would be charged separately.

What I liked most was that they provide a service warranty and damage cover, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, the service was smooth.

The cost of repairing a leaking pipe depends on several factors, such as location, labour costs, material charges, and so on. When we had a pipeline leakage, I asked our plumber

we got it fixed at Rs. 285. However, this will vary according to your specific problems and requirements.

The cost may also differ depending on the plumbers, and their labour rates in the specific location. Here are a few other factors that affect the cost of fixing a leaking pipe.

Material Costs

I learned material costs differ depending on the type of pipe and other required materials. Some of the common materials include copper, PVC, and other modern plumbing supplies.

Types of Leaks

The cost will also depend on leak types, which include drain pipe leak and main water line leaks. The latter often requires more materials and efforts, and hence the cost can increase.

Urgency of Repair

The plumber also mentioned that if you require an emergency repair, the charges will likewise go up, because it needs immediate action.

So, these are essential factors we got to know from the plumber. If you want to know the exact cost, it’s better to consult a professional and tell them your specific issue, after which, they can give you a quote.

I hope this will help you understand

How to Deal with Water Leakage During Rain?

The water pipe leak repair cost mainly depends on the complexity of the work. I was not sure whom to call and after much consideration, availed of the NoBroker’s plumbing service. Their service is brilliant and affordable. They charged me just Rs 99 for it.

How Much Does it Cost to Fix a Leaking Pipe?

A leaking pipe’s repair cost should be between Rs 100 to Rs 500 depending on the leak’s severity and location. Minor repairs won’t be expensive but if the issue is complex or it is hard to reach the pipe, the charge will rise.

When I faced a similar issue with my wash basin, I checked the water pipe leaking repair cost and found NoBroker to be providing the most cost-effective service. I had checked at the charges of other plumbers and none of them were as affordable as NoBroker.

  • NoBroker costs around Rs 99 for repair or replacement of 1 waste pipe

  • Urban Company charges Rs 319 for pipeline leakage repair

  • Serviquick charges between Rs 250 and Rs 500

You can look at the prices of other plumbing service providers but I am sure, you too will find them charging more than NoBroker. So consider these charges and then opt for a reliable plumber.
