To assure a township's or city's multifaceted expansion, vast land banks are divided up into several zones for a variety of uses.
The land zones are as follows;
- Green zone
A portion of the green zone is set aside for agriculture. No residential, commercial, or industrial building is allowed in the green zone.
- Yellow zone
Residential construction, often planned developments, is planned for the land designated as the yellow zone. In the yellow zone, small businesses like grocery stores, milk booths, and others could be established. These are intended to enhance locals' quality of life.
- Industrial zone
In this region, small, medium, and large-scale industries can be established. This area is being developed by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board or KIADB.
- Commercial zone
Shopping malls, theatres, and other commercial buildings are permitted on land designated as part of the commercial zone.
- Mixed usage
A portion of the residential land may be used for business purposes under the terms of the mixed-use land. The sort of development in that specific location is taken into consideration when creating segregation.
I hope this helps:)
