How many smoke detectors are required in a home?
I believe one smoke detection system is needed to be installed in each sleeping room. There should be one in the kitchen and one in the entry of your home. There should be a minimum of one smoke alarm per floor, including the basement. The number of smoke detectors required can vary according to the size of the property, the number of rooms, and the functional space in the plot.
