Hi,
If you have put a property on rent, then you must’ve signed a rent agreement. The term of tenancy depends on the period mentioned in the rent/lease agreement. Most rent agreements are for a duration of 11 months, you should wait until that period if he is paying rent regularly.
Alternatively, you can file an eviction notice in a court under suitable jurisdiction mentioning why you want the tenant to vacate the property. This notice needs to have an appropriate time and date by which you want your tenant to vacate your property.
In case the tenant does not vacate your rented property even after getting the eviction notice of court, then you will have to file an eviction suit against the tenant in a civil court. After that, the court will listen to both the parties and release an ultimate eviction notice for the tenant.
This is why making a rental agreement is important.
