Due to flooding at the pumping station in the Mandya district, the town will be without drinking water for 2 days. Sadashivanagar, Indiranagar, Vasanthnagar, Malleshwaram, and other notable areas will continue to be impacted. There would be more than 50 areas without drinking water availability. The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) pumping station at T K Halli, which controls the Cauvery water system to the town, is currently under water.
