I stayed for almost 15 years at home when I was studying. Then I got placed in an MNC for a job as a senior analyst. When I moved to Bangalore for my job posting, the first thing for me was to find a good PG. I found a good PG in about 15 days. It was just 2 km from my workplace and the location was also quite good. We were a total of 3 people in a room in a PG and we all were working in an MNC. Our life was quite busy and we did so many interesting things. We used to cook by ourselves as it helped us to save a little bit of money.
The best thing about living in a PG is that you learn to manage things on your own. I was a resident of Bengaluru's public housing complex. I didn't learn to do many tasks like cleaning, cooking, washing, doing bank-related tasks, etc at home until I had lived in a PG for about a year. I discovered how to organise my daily schedule and manage my professional life by staying in a PG.
