Varsa Hakka or Inheritance Rights in case of pagdi property are different from other property systems. The tenant in the pagdi system is not the complete owner. I can explain varsa hakka with an example.
Suppose your grandfather was a tenant in a pagdi property, the rights of ownership after his demise will be transferred to the people who resided with him in that property. In the pagdi system the legal heirs are those who reside with the pagdi tenant. However, the permission for it will be granted by the landlord.
