How to stop automatic payments from my bank account?I have an HDFC account. I follow the process given below :
I log on to my HDFC internet banking website or app.
I click on the 'Bill Pay and Recharge' button.
Next, I click the 'Standing Instruction' button.
Then I choose the 'View/Stop Scheduled Bills' button.
I look at the name of the biller ( my name) and click the 'Stop' button.
I choose the 'My Billers' button
I chose the 'View/Delete Billers' button.
From the list of active billers displayed.
I chose the ‘Trash’ icon. This deletes the card from the active billers option.
You can even call your bank and follow a process known as "revoking authorization.". After the completion of the process, automatic payments will not take place. You will have to approve each payment.
