To get a new meter at your home, you will need to check out with the electricity department of your state. The rules might vary accordingly;
The majority of electrical boards offer the option to submit an online application for a new electricity connection to register for one.
The field examination of the site (your new home) will be completed within 3-7 days of your online application for a new power connection.
The process to estimate preparation for load sanction and fee deposit will be completed in the following 3–4 days after the inspection is cleared.
The installation of the meter and the flow of power will be completed in the following eight days after the deposit cost has been paid.
