Actually, In Aug 2017 when I gave an application to one of the officers he told me, it will reflect in my next year's (2018) property tax bill. But It did not change, I have his number I called him 3-4 times, but he said "We cannot make a correction now. You had to do this within one month of buying the house."
But the problem is this we did not know about that. We are the second owner of the house. We bought a house at end of 2013. After that, we moved from India. My friend had paid to start one or two property tax bills. Later she told me now we can pay online. When I started paying my property tax online then I saw my area is showing wrong. Therefore, when we visit India in 2017, I gave an application to one of the officer Municipal corporations, that time they told me within one or two months they will change it and we can see the changes in our next bill.
But still, it did not change. Now everything is computerized. Don't they have an "EDIT" button in their software? Even though it is their mistake. They are not ready to change.
I hope the number you gave me, will help me to change my area. I will try it. If it will not work. What is your suggestion?

How can we make correction in area of apartment in house tax? We are out side of India and submit application to change area of apartment in 2017 to Municipal Corporation, Ghaziabad? But still they did not change and house tax is coming higher.
