Unfortunately in the pagdi system, it is mandatory to get permission from the landlord to modify the building structure. Without permission, it is impossible to make any changes irrespective of the fact that you have been making regular rental payments.

Hello sir, I am living in Mumbai with Pagdi System from last 45 years and paying rent continually but my house height is quite less. If I want to increase the ceiling height by 14 feet then will the Pagdi owners give me permission for the renovation?
