Q.

Hello Sir, I am planning to buy a flat in Andhra Pradesh. We already committed to sale agreement. My seller bought the flat from the builder in 2021, but he didn't pay the corpus fund till date. At the time of sale agreement between us he didn't mention about it. Now my seller is telling me to pay the corpus fund. What are the rights that I have to object it? Is it compulsory that first owner must pay the corpus fund ? Is this legal that my seller is telling me to pay the corpus fund?

Hey friend,

Before I share with you who needs to pay the corpus fund. I would recommend, you know the meaning. Corpus fund is deemed as  a large amount of funds or cash taken and collected by the builder from the buyer at the time of booking of the apartment.  The original owner of the flat needs to pay the corpus fund to the builder. You can object to this, I am sure a lawyer will guide you

You can read more about it from the link given below.
